Holiday Season - 1998

The Roseville Active 20-30 Club received a classic 1934 flatbed truck as a gift from another chapter of Active 20-30.  Members donated their time to repair the engine and clean the exterior of the truck.

To show their community spirit and to let the community know about their organization, the Roseville Active 20-30 Club participated in the 1998 Roseville Holiday Parade on November 21 in Downtown Roseville.  Their truck won 2nd place in the classic vehicles category.

Food baskets are distributed to families prior to Thanksgiving.  Through community donations and funds provided by the Roseville Active 20-30 Club, approximately 50 food baskets were distributed this year.

The Roseville Active 20-30 Club participates in the Roseville Community Tree Lighting Ceremony by collecting canned food items and toys for distribution at Christmas.

The community brings donations of canned food and toys to the tree lighting to be distributed by 20-30.

Each December, the Roseville Active 20-30 Club takes children on a shopping trip at Mervyn's Roseville store and they are able to purchase items with money provided by the 20-30 Club.  This year, 60 children participated in the program.  After shopping, the children and volunteers are treated to a pancake breakfast and a visit from Santa.  Santa recruits the 20-30 Club to purchase and wrap the presents for the children.
